Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and STGFOODTRUCKS, doing business as STG Food Trucks. By creating an organizer account, submitting a guest booking request, uploading event information, using organizer tools, or otherwise using the organizer-facing platform, you agree to these Terms.

If you use the platform for an organization, venue, business, school, agency, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization and bind it to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an organizer account, submit a booking request, or enter into arrangements through or arising from the platform. The organizer platform is not intended for children.

You may not use the platform if you are prohibited from doing so by applicable law or if STG Food Trucks has suspended or terminated your access for violating these Terms.

3. Organizer Accounts and Account Security

Organizer accounts allow event planners, venue representatives, and similar users to manage event information, booking requests, preferred trucks, profile information, and related organizer activity.

You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for activity that occurs through your account. Notify STG Food Trucks promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

STG Food Trucks may use authentication tools such as passwords, session cookies, sign-in links, or sign-in codes to help secure access. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account without permission.

4. Guest Booking Requests

Where the platform permits it, you may submit a booking request without creating an organizer account. Guest requests still require contact and event information, such as requester name, email, phone number if provided, event date, location, event type, and attendance estimate.

Guest request users are subject to the portions of these Terms that apply to booking requests, communications, submitted content, prohibited conduct, disclaimers, and disputes.

5. STG Food Trucks' Role

STG Food Trucks is a marketplace and technology platform that helps organizers and food truck businesses discover one another, exchange information, communicate, and arrange potential bookings.

STG Food Trucks is not the food vendor, caterer, event organizer, employer, employment agency, agent, partner, joint venturer, or contracting party between an organizer and a food truck unless STG Food Trucks expressly enters into a separate written agreement stating otherwise.

Food trucks and organizers are responsible for deciding whether to work together and for the terms of any agreement they make with each other.

6. Booking Requests and Communications

A booking request is an inquiry, not a confirmed booking. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a food truck is available, will respond, will accept the event, or will provide service.

STG Food Trucks may use submitted request information to help connect you with appropriate food trucks. This may include making request details available to food trucks or communicating with you and food trucks about the request.

You are responsible for reviewing communications, confirming details, and entering into any contract or arrangement directly with the selected food truck.

7. Organizer Responsibilities

You are responsible for information and obligations within your control, including accurate event details, dates, times, locations, attendance estimates, admission/access requirements, setup needs, utility availability, parking, property-owner or venue permission, applicable event permits, event-specific licenses or approvals, and safety or operational requirements that apply to your event.

You are also responsible for negotiated pricing, deposits, payments, cancellation terms, minimum sales requirements, contracts, tax responsibilities, and other commercial arrangements you make with food trucks.

8. Food Truck Verification and Limitations

STG Food Trucks may identify certain food trucks as Verified. Verified means the truck has provided documentation requested by STG Food Trucks as part of the platform's verification process and that the documentation has been reviewed according to current platform procedures.

Verification is not a guarantee of current or continuing legal compliance, license validity, permit validity, insurance coverage, food safety, food quality, service quality, financial condition, reliability, availability, suitability for a particular event, performance of contractual obligations, or absence of regulatory violations.

STG Food Trucks is not a government licensing, inspection, certification, or regulatory authority. Organizers should perform any due diligence they consider appropriate.

9. Cancellations, Payments, Deposits, Refunds, and Disputes

STG Food Trucks does not currently collect or process organizer payments to food trucks as part of organizer booking transactions. Unless STG Food Trucks expressly provides otherwise in a separate written agreement or later service-specific terms, pricing, deposits, refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, minimum sales guarantees, and payment disputes are matters between the organizer and food truck.

STG Food Trucks may provide support or facilitate communication, but doing so does not make STG Food Trucks responsible for resolving private contractual disputes, enforcing contracts, issuing refunds, guaranteeing food quality, or paying either party.

10. Submitted Content

Organizer content may include event descriptions, booking details, event flyers, uploaded images, photos, reviews, ratings, comments, communications, and other content you submit through the platform.

You keep ownership of content you own. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and allow STG Food Trucks to use it as described here.

You grant STG Food Trucks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, format, display, distribute, technically process, and use submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, improve, and promote the platform, including public listings or public events where you choose to make content public.

STG Food Trucks may remove or restrict content that it reasonably believes is unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, unsafe, spam, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.

11. AI-Assisted Flyer Analysis

The organizer event workflow may allow you to upload or paste an event flyer and choose whether to start AI analysis. When you choose to use AI analysis, STG Food Trucks may transmit the image and related technical data to an AI service provider so the platform can suggest event information such as the event name, date, time, location, description, and other details.

AI-generated or AI-extracted information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and verifying all information before saving, publishing, or using it for a booking request or event.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the platform to:

• submit false, fraudulent, misleading, or impersonated booking requests;
• harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against others;
• upload unlawful, infringing, unsafe, malicious, or deceptive content;
• misuse another person's personal information;
• attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
• interfere with platform security, availability, or operation;
• scrape, copy, or harvest platform data in a manner that violates these Terms or applicable law;
• bypass access controls, rate limits, or security features; or
• use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

13. Third-Party Services

The platform relies on third-party services for functions such as hosting, analytics, maps and location features, authentication email, transactional email, AI-assisted features, owner-side payment services, advertising or remarketing where enabled, and push-notification infrastructure where offered.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. STG Food Trucks is not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law or an agreement STG Food Trucks has directly made with you.

14. Intellectual Property

STG Food Trucks owns or licenses the platform, website design, software, branding, logos, content, and other materials it provides, excluding user content and third-party content. You may use the platform only as permitted by these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, frame, or create derivative works from the platform except as allowed by law or with written permission from STG Food Trucks.

15. Suspension and Termination

STG Food Trucks may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform if it reasonably believes you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, submitted fraudulent or unsafe content, attempted unauthorized access, or used the platform unlawfully.

You may stop using the platform at any time. Registered organizers may request account deletion by contacting STG Food Trucks, subject to reasonable retention for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, disputes, booking records, enforcement, backups, and legitimate operational needs.

16. Disclaimers of Warranties

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, STG Food Trucks disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

STG Food Trucks does not guarantee truck availability, responses, pricing, performance, compliance, food safety, food quality, suitability for a particular event, booking completion, or event outcomes.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, STG Food Trucks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost revenue; lost business; loss of data; event cancellation losses; or damages arising from disputes between organizers and food trucks.

STG Food Trucks does not limit liability where doing so is not allowed by law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify STG Food Trucks from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the platform, unlawful conduct, submitted content, event information, violation of these Terms, violation of another person's rights, or agreements and disputes between you and a food truck.

19. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where legally permissible, courts located in Washington County, Utah will be the venue for disputes arising from these Terms or the organizer platform.

20. Changes and Contact

STG Food Trucks may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted with a new Last Updated date. Your continued use of the platform after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms, except where additional notice or consent is required by law.
